Dishwasher not draining — the fast checklist

1. New install? Knockout plug in garbage disposal must be removed.
2. Air gap. Cap off, clean gunk; run rinse cycle.
3. Filters. Remove/clean fine and coarse screens.
4. Drain hose. Clear kinks; make high loop under the counter.
5. Pump/impeller. Listen for hum only → seized pump or debris.
